East Coast Swing with John McEuen

My east coast dates with John McEuen were filled with surprises and great music. I was so honored to play a duet with the great David Amram in New York. We performed Pastures of Plenty, the iconic song written by David’s old friend, Woody Guthrie.
From there, John and I traveled to Vienna,VA where we hooked up with original NGDB bassist, Les Thompson. Our opening act turned out to be Molly O’Brien and Rich Moore. What a nice surprise! It had been several years since our paths last crossed.

We ended up at a SRO show in Sarasota,Fl, John’s current hometown. My big brother, who hasn’t seen a show of mine in 30 years was on hand and, luckily, he saw a good one.

I’m still on track for a January 2015 release of the new CD, It’s Alright and I hope to be out to promote it after the first of the year. Stay tuned!
